Japanese are best known for new cool ways of strategically placing homes in an already crowded city. Recently Unemori Architects has completed a compact house in Tokyo, dubbed Small House. The small house which the married couple and their child live stands at the densely populated area in Tokyo.
The House is located on a site measuring 112 square foot, consequently the design is vertically arranged, all connected via a central spiral staircase. The space of around the house is useful enough to let light and wind in. White surfaces and wood preserve the minimal atmosphere of the structure while huge openings preserve the connection with the outside on demand. Take a look!
