French architects Tectoniques have recently finished a town house in Lyon. DI-VA occupies a site of 200 m2 that had been deserted for some years. Living rooms and a kitchen take the two lower levels, while bathrooms, bedrooms and a bureau are located on the two floors above. On a third building there are a 3 children’s bedrooms, and a bathroom.
The four storey DI-VA House was completed in less than a week. Its sudden and fast appearance came as something of a surprise to the neighbors. All of an interior, including a ceilings and partitions, is stoical of cross-laminated hunger panels. Cross-laminated timber was used for a walls, partitions and floors. Let’s check out photos!
