Titanic Belfast is the result of a successful collaboration between London-based research and design practice CivicArts and the Lead Consultant/Architect Todd Architects. The museum is completed and is opened to the public right on time for the centennial memorialization of the sinking of the ill-fated ship this month.
The project is just part of a multi-million pound concept which includes a mix of cafes, restaurants, shops offices, leisure facilities and residential accommodation at Titanic Quarter. The building will also house temporary exhibits, a 1,000-seat banqueting suite, education and community facilities, catering and retail space and a basement car park.
