The massively high Blade skyscraper is the work of French Architecture Dominique Perrault designed within the Yongsan International Business Center. The structure establishes itself as a geographical landmark in the business district in Seoul.  The 300-metre tower will be diamond-shaped in plan, with its sharpest edges at the north-east and south-west corners of the site.

The skin of the tower is clad with glass, which allows the exterior to release luminous halos which envelop the outline of the structure. The lowest storeys will be occupied by shops and the rest of the tower will be dedicated to office accommodation. The project sculptures the void like a luxurious material, offering space, light and views of the grand Seoul landscape. At night, they dematerialize the silhouette of the tower, which appears then like a precious carved stone. Take a look!
