Cape Town-based studio SAOTA Architects has recently completed the La Lucia residence in collaboration with interior design studio Antoni Associates. This modern holiday beach house is located on the North Coast of the KwaZulu Natal province in South Africa. The building has been sensitively designed to gently nestle between protected milkwood trees, in an area that has strict environmental controls.

The Interiors by Antoni Associates express simplicity and restraint while making the home comfortable and cozy. The ground level can be enjoyed as one continuous space or arranged into more individual and private spaces. The entire room opens to a sea-facing pool deck and garden to the west of the structure. The screens, inspired by the milkwood trees, create the home’s signature. Take a look!
