Green and Sustainable Transportation Station Stuttgart

Architecture creating work for station build in Eco-friendly and sustainable transportation model. This is a Main Station Stuttgart for greater pace rail. Ingenhoven Architects has designed this beautiful station. The station is already incredibly forward thinking in terms of sustainability and green transportation.  Ingenhoven Architects designed the station in such a way that it turned the tracks 90 degrees and place them underground in order to create a massive new park in the city center.

The whole complex is virtually internet zero. The underground station will feature 28 light ‘eyes’ in order to reduce light pollution during the night and illuminate the subterranean platforms. This should guarantee a supply of natural light for up to 14 hours a day.
