International architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) recently presented the design for Block H of Seoul’s new Yongsan International Business District (YIBD) in Seoul, Korea. Scheduled for completion in 2016, the 167,225 square meter space will be a luxury five-star accommodation with high-end services, including shopping and entertainment districts, offices, and public spaces.
The body of the tower will be split into three wings, with floors that gradually step inwards to create rooftop gardens for the apartments and five star hotels housed inside. The goal of YIBD is to create a new symbol for the 21st century city; a new urban center that will include international business, living, entertainment, and shopping. All spaces will wow visitors with incredible corner views while offering residents and guests’ maximum privacy
